I realised that we needed a way of keeping him up to date with what was going on each day. My first thought was a white board, so I popped in to The Range. Unbelievably, they had exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to share a link here, but can’t find it on their website. This is a very similar product which is currently £6 from ASDA. It is called ASDA weekly planner. Here is the link: https://groceries.asda.com/product/notebooks-notepads/asda-weekly-planner/1000249114592??utm_source=organic&utm_medium=shopping&utm_campaign=ghs&srsltid=AfmBOoq2k-CbsRX4tt1f8qsRjoS1rz3G9sAXQcx4HSk0WsdpyhYfEkt6YSc

What we learned:
A weekly planner or white could be really useful if you are visiting daily to update it. Although it was useful, we found that it was too much information for dad to process if we filled in the whole week. Also, we found that dad wasn’t always able to look at the clock to see what day it was and then look at the corresponding day on the board. The board we purchased had some write on magnets. I would recommend writing TODAY on a magnet and moving it each day to make it easier to navigate.
We realised that we needed a different solution, so my brother, who his very good with tech, set about making a digital calendar which we could update online from our own homes and give dad a useful amount of information without overwhelming him. I will provide more information about this in a later post.
